Degree Level Curricula

The College imparts education in the faculties of Arts, Commerce, Science & Computer Science.
 
Faculty of Arts
 
B. A. Part I
 
Each student has to study six subjects, out of which two are compulsory and four optional.
 
1) Compulsory Subjects:
 
  i) English ii) a) Scientific Method or b) Marathi
     
2) Optional Subjects
     
Four optional subjects should be chosen from Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’ with at least one subject from each group.

i) Hindi i) Economics or Physical Education
   
ii) English ii) Sociology or Psychology
   
iii) Marathi iii) Political Science or Geography
   
Note : From group ‘A’ any one language can be chosen.
 
B. A. Part II
 
Each student has to study five subjects, out of which two are compulsory, one I.D.S. and two optional subjects (Each optional subject has two papers)
 
1) Compulsory Subjects:
 
  i) English ii) Environmental Studies
     
2) Inter-Disciplinary Subjects (I.D. Subjects)
     
 
The University has provided the list of corresponding I. D. subjects with the optional ones. The students have to select an I.D. Subject corresponding with the optional subject.

Two optional subjects (Each subject having two papers) from four optional subjects studied at B.A. Part I should be chosen. Following points should be considered while selecting optional subjects:-

The students can offer only one language as one of the optional subjects.The student taking language as an optional subject should not take Sociology.Any one optional subject out of Economics, Psychology and Physical Education can be chosen.

Any one optional subject out of Political science, Geography and History should be chosen.

Note: Any doubt regarding the choice of optional subjects should be clarified with Hon’ble Principal.
 
 
B. A. Part III
 
Each student will have to study one compulsory and one special subject
 
1) Compulsory Subjects:
 
  i) English  
     
2) Special Subjects
     
 
A Special subject should be chosen out of two optional subjects, studied at B. A. Part II. There will be five papers for each special subject.
