Six Career Oriented Courses, three each of Science & Arts Faculties sponsored by UGC. New Delhi & run through Shivaji University, Kolhapur were initiated in the college from 2006 –07. After completion of these courses, students can either find jobs in other institutions or start their own enterprises. During this year, Certificate Course & Diploma course in each career-oriented course, will be conducted. The prominent features of these courses are as under.
Student of any faculty can take admission to any of these courses.
Minimum eligibility of these courses is H.S.C. (XII th) qualified.
A student of Shivaji University, Kolhapur, admitted to any college, to any course or faculty, is eligible for admission to these courses.
These courses have horizontal mobility ie any student of first year can complete Certificate, Diploma & Advanced Diploma Courses of COC, along with completion of three years of degree courses.
Forms for these courses are available with college office, separately.
Forms should be completely filled, accompanied with two I-card size photographs & attested copy of H.S.C. (XII th ) mark sheet.
A nominal fee will have to be borne by the students.
Examination for these courses is conducted by Shivaji University, Kolhapur & commences after the completion of all other degree exams. |
